Pre-Installation Checklist

Residential Checklist

Prior to installation, the following checklist must be completed.

The SILIENT cold water chilling system is installed inside the home where the plumbing can be accessed, typically where the water heater is in the utility room or basement of the home.

  • Access + Space
  • Floor Support
  • Vented Room
  • Electrical

  • Wifi Access
  • Minimum Temperature

1 | Access and Space

  • Model LM: All doors leading to the installation zone are a minimum of 29” wide
  • Model L: All doors leading to the installation zone are a minimum of 24” in wide
  • The installation zone where the product will be installed has at least 3x6ft of floor space within 10 feet of the plumbing lines around the water heater

2 | Floor Support

  • Model LM: The floor of the installation zone is either concrete, or a reinforced floor able to support a water tank of 850 pounds
  • Model L: The floor of the installation zone is either concrete, or a reinforced floor able to support a water tank of  650 pounds

3 | Vented Room

  • The installation zone is located in either an air-conditioned room or a vented room to dissipate 15k BTU's

4 | Electrical

  • The installation zone has access to a 208-230v/60Hz/1Ph (L1,L2,G,N) outlet on a 20 amp breaker

5 | Home Plumbing

  • The home plumbing that will deliver the SILIENT chilled water must be insulated
  • The home must not be plumbed with polybutylene piping

6 | Wifi Access

  • 2.4 gHz wifi signal is present and strong in the installation zone

7 | Minimum Temperature

  • The product may not be installed in a location that falls below 40 degrees Fahrenheit

Commercial Checklist

Prior to installation, the following checklist must be completed.

PRINT COMMERCIAL CHECKLIST
  • Floor Space
  • Vented or Conditioned Room
  • Electrical
  • Wifi Access

1 | Floor Space

  • A 6’x5’ footprint is required in your mechanical room

2 | Vented or Conditioned Room

  • The mechanical room must be able to remove 15k BTU’s per hour through an air vent or air conditioning system and remain between 55°F and 95°F.

3 | Electrical

  • The mechanical room must have access to a 208-230V 60hZ 1Ph power supply

4 | Wifi Access

  • The SILIENT System in the control room, and the control box near the shower must have access to 2.4 ghz Wifi
